The first seed to be placed in soil this year ended up being Ramsons (Allium ursinum).

I had 21 seed left over from last years failed attempt (which was without cold stratification).

I filled the pots with gardening peat, then placed 5-6 seed in each pot and covered with a thin layer of sand. Then I burried two of the pots in the snow outside, and the other two in the unheated greenhouse.
